Top tips for Poker

Top tips for Poker

Poker is an exciting game, and almost everyone tries to get his hands wet in it. If you are a novice player looking for some tips to become a better player, you have come to the right place. Some quick tips are listed below.

1. Drunk?

Sometimes you just play for fun. It’s cool if you are playing with friends, but while playing at a casino, make sure you are not high on alcohol. Sure, a couple of drinks make you relax, but just one too many might turn you into a loser. So stay away from it.

2. Fold more

New players do not know the tricks and play just too many hands. If you do not have a good hand, staying at it is not a wise decision. You might want to play more- but it will all be losing more.

3. Bluffing rules

Bluff when the situation calls for it. You don’t exactly ‘have to’ bluff. There are many cases when you can win a game without even bluffing once. If there is no need for bluffing, it is better you don’t.

4. Bad mood? Don’t play

When you are feeling low, or depressed, or having a bad day in general, it is better that you don’t play, rather than play and lose. Even if you are playing in a bad mood, make sure you keep your calm. If you cannot keep your calm, relax a bit. You can always play later.

These tips will help you play better at poker. I have more tips in my stock. My next post will talk about some more tips for the novice player.
